Nuevos ENTORNOS, nuevos horizontes...

Presenter: Norah L. Jones - Educational Consultant (Edinumen USA)

Date: Thursday November 12th, 2020
Time: 4:00 PM EST.

How do we give our Spanish students a wider vision of the world – and of their place in it? It is much more than ensuring the incorporation of interculturality in our courses.

Of key importance in our work is the systematic application of targeted linguistic and socio-linguistic approaches that ensure student autonomy, confidence, and engagement.

In this practical and interactive webinar, we’ll address ten specific approaches to ensuring student success. We’ll also identify, apply, and reflect on three linguistic and social-emotional organizing principles that support such approaches. Examples of applicable content will be taken from Entornos (introductory level) and Destellos (intermediate level). Together, we will indeed see how we can give students a vision of their own personal global future.
